I chose the 5 rating based on my personal experience of reading this book.
I have just finished my second reading of the book and intend to read it again. The honest and reflective conformity to Scripture and the riches of Spiritual insight by Andrew Murray make this one of my all time favorites of his. I am a grateful recipient of spiritual wisdom offered by Andrew Murray for over 40 years. I continue to benefit from his writing and more importantly desire that God will gain fruit for His glory through the spiritual application of the grace of this book. I will be eternally grateful to God for Andrew Murray and God’s grace that has worked through him and his writings.
The Book on the two covenants has given deep insight of how God has developed his covenant grace with man. The second covenant or what we call the New Testament is the fulfillment of all the promises of the first covenant with the gift of God’s life to fulfill it within us! What grace and glory to God is offered us through this second covenant. This book is very clear on what the second covenant is and will be a blessing to all who approach it with prayer and faith by the Spirit of God.

This book still contains the best explanation of the difference between the old and new covenants. A must read for all believers.
Quality resource in its field
Unlike most recent books on the Christian life the writings of Andrew Murray are thought provoking and worthy of the readers time. This one is difficult reading in places, but well worth the effort.
